As a result, it was largely concentrated in the North and Northeast regions, both in rural and urban areas. Although the number of the poor has decreased in recent years, the overall rate remains high. The main reasons for such high rate of poverty are a lack of opportunities, low income or unemployment. The country is economically affected by the problem of poverty. However, there are good signs that something might get better.
